Konto’s acoustics at Periscope

Ratina Shopping Centre opened to the public in spring 2018 and is the new flagship of Tampere. With a viewpoint from the top floor of the center there is a restaurant called Periscope, whose acoustics were provided by Konto. For the walls we made water cut artworks with wave shapes and above the counter we mounted a fascia board with “Periscope” cut out. In the ceiling, we put square-shaped panels attached with wire rope. Together with Konto, Suunnittelutoimisto Muotoa from Tampere was responsible for the design of the acoustics.
